and Transform Lives First Stage Children's
Theater relies on contributions from individuals, foundations and

Your tax-deductible contribution will be
used to support initiatives like the First Stage Community Partnership
Program. The Community Partnership Program was designed to open new
doors for Milwaukee City youth and ensure that all children have access
to First Stage's considerable arts education opportunities. This
program will have a significant impact on the lives of 2,725 of these
young people during 2006-2007 through programming designed to meet the
specific needs of individuals, schools and organizations. The program
is made up of five initiatives:
1. Academy Family
Partnerships: Individual/family support and financial aid for
underserved youth to attend the First Stage Theater Academy (320
students) 2. In-School Education Partnerships: In-school
theater education programs provided to City of Milwaukee schools (1,825
students) 3. Boys and Girls Club Partnerships: Theater Academy
Programming provided to City of Milwaukee Boys and Girls Club
participants (500 students) 4. Academy School Partnerships:
Additional after school Theater Academy classes added to meet the needs
of individual City of Milwaukee schools (80
students)
First Stage Children's Theater will
allocate $2.2 million over five years to the Community Partnership
Program. Half of the program funding has already been committed and
First Stage has been charged with matching that funding dollar for
dollar. This fiscal year alone the company must match $225,000 (July 1,
2007 - June 30, 2008). Please consider making a matching gift
today!
